Tango classes with Carrie Field, May-June 2026

Carrie Field will be teaching tango at the Berkeley City Club on three dates only: Wednesdays, May 20th, 27th, and June 3rd!

BEGINNING TANGO
Join this beautiful dance of walking in an embrace to orchestrated music. We will learn and explore up to five tango basics with a focus on movement fundamentals.

INTERMEDIATE TANGO
This series at La Bruja explores simple functional anatomy for Tango through concepts and exercises from Tango Inform. Build body awareness, movement clarity, and enhance proprioceptive experience. Applications for both follow and leader roles will be offered, and we will dance.

No partner necessary; the teacher encourages people to switch partners throughout the class.
